About me

Introduction	Senior Dance Education Major at Southern Utah University, with extensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern. Member of the Southern Utah University Student Association (SUUSA) and currently serves as an academic senator for the College of Performing and Visual Arts. Emily has choreographed two pieces for the Theatre Arts and Dance Department at Southern Utah University, her most recent work being showcased in the Collected Objects Student Dance Concert, titled "Cascade of Seasons" (2014). In 2013, her work was presented in Breaking Bounds Student Dance Concert, titled "Defenseless State". Emily traveled to Chicago Illinois (2014) to the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) conference, where she presented her volunteer work with the after school dance program Wee Be Groovin' (Cedar City, UT).She currently works at The Point Dance Studio in Cedar City, UT, where she teaches ballet, modern, jazz technique, and tap.
