| Introduction | Serena Bales Brion was born in Central California and grew up going to the beach and camping in the Sierras, influenced by the artistic and free-thinking hippie culture of the era. She moved to Alaska as a young adult and fell in love with the beaches of Cook Inlet and bought her amazing Clam Gulch bluff property. Alaska is where she met the love of her life, Jody Brion. Many hours are spent painting overlooking the waves and volcanoes. After visiting the Big Island of Hawaii, she fell in love with the shorelines and jungle of Puna and bought a secret hideaway. Jody and Serena wed in 2018 and still felt like honeymooners when they moved to the Big Island in 2021. Jody passed away on May 24, 2021. This is my journey, life after death. |
