| Introduction | He honore, he kororia ki te Atua i runga rawa. He maungarongo ki te whenua, he whakaaro pai ki nga tangata huri noa, huri noa. Kia Ora and wassup to you all! This feels weird because for seven years I was the Diocesan Coordinator for Youth Ministry then became the Promotional Coordinator for our WYD Office and now I have the esteemed privilege of being the Auckland Ambassador. With humility and gratitude I acknowledge my predecessor Geremy who represented us admirably in Sydney for the hand-over of the WYD Cross and Icon. The role of Ambassador is a big challenge and Geremy has in a sense prepared the way for me to continue. I’m looking forward to meeting you all as we journey towards WYD especially making myself available to attend your fundraisers and events. Otherwise look out for me on the streets… and give me a ride! |
