| Introduction | I was born in Richmond, Virginia and am very thankful for having great parents who were a wonderful Christian influence in my life. I moved away from home when I was 18 and attended Roanoke Bible College in Elizabeth City, NC. Between my junior and senior years at college I was a youth director in Upper Marlboro, MD. I started dating George, my husband of 33 years, in 1973. We have two sons, Justin(29) and Nathan(25). George is currently the pastor of Abundant Life Church in Happy Valley, OR.
