| Introduction | I'm an idealist that longs for impossible dreams. (In other words: I'm deader than a dodo but far more desirable.) Depending on the subject, I can either act civilized or raise all kinds of hell! So you'll either like me or you won't. I live for peace and harmony among men, but will fight to the death if witness to the abuse of innocents. My life is an open book and I ask nothing of others that I would not give them myself. |
| Interests | Politics, photography, music, poetry, history, philosophy, baseball, auto racing, nature and the outdoors, classic and foreign cinema, comics, toys, animation, old sci-fi and spy TV shows, parakeets and most other birds, burgers, pizza, potatoes in all its forms, bacon, seafood, dark chocolate, Nocilla, Tabasco sauce, Spanish, French, Italian, Asian, and Cajun cooking, beaches, the sea, rivers, lakes, or anywhere with water nearby. |
| Favorite movies | The Good the Bad & the Ugly, For a Few Dollars More, A Fistful of Dollars, Things Change, Le Professionnel, The Wild Bunch, The Treasure of Sierra Madre, Amadeus, Magnum Force, F/X, The Best Years of Our Lives, In the Heat of the Night, The Shawshank Redemption, Slingblade, White Heat, RoboCop, Twelve Angry Men, Jaws, The Great Escape, Beverly Hills Cop, Seven Samurai, Umberto D., Reservoir Dogs, Scarface, 2001: A Space Odyssey, It's A Wonderful Life, the original Star Wars trilogy, License to Kill, Live and Let Die, and most other Bond films. |
| Favorite music | Rock, soul, jazz, pop, disco, latin, and some classical. Chuck Mangione's "Give It All You Got" is my favorite instrumental. The Eagles' "I Can't Tell You Why" is my favorite song. Others include: Al Jarreau, Alan Parsons Project, Ambrosia, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Bee Gees, Boz Scaggs, Bread, Chicago, Earl Klugh, England Dan & John Ford Coley, Ennio Morricone, Fattburger, Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, Foreigner, Franck Pourcel, Gato Barbieri, Genesis, Gino Vannelli, Hall & Oates, Herb Alpert, Huey Lewis & The News, Isaac Hayes, Isley Brothers, Johnny Pearson, Kansas, Kenny Loggins, Kool & The Gang, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Level 42, Little River Band, Manhattan Transfer, Men At Work, Michael Franks, Nat King Cole, Odyssey, Pat Methiny, Patti Austin, Paul Davis, Pet Shop Boys, Police, Pretenders, Sadao Watanabe, Spinners, Stan Getz, Steve Tyrell, Stylistics, Survivor, Suzanne Ciani, Tears For Fears, Temptations, Toto, Warren Hill, Yes, and many more. |

Franklin and Winston, The Audacity of Hope, After Fidel, Wild Bill: The Legend and Life of William O. Douglas, Pusey's biography of Charles Evans Hughes, (my latest vintage find!) and the Timetables of History (or any great reference tome). I'm also a lifelong comics fan since they taught me how to read twice, in two languages.
