| Introduction | I worked in Infection Prevention for the past 7 years and have just recently become an IP advisor/consultant. Before that I was a Director of Nursing at a 250-bed long-term care facility and the Commissioner of Health for the City of Cleveland. I have a PhD in Community Health Nursing and I like to combine my community health nursing background with IP. |
| Interests | I live for my garden and have blooms from February until late November. I am searching for a plant that blooms in January., I am also trying to train my cats to be my pets instead of the other way around. |
| Favorite movies | I could watch Don Juan deMarco, Pleasantville and the two-part Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring every day. All are morality tales but very easy to watch. |
| Favorite music | Depends on what mood I'm in. |
| Favorite books | I love to read non fiction books including biographies and histories. A good fiction book will satisfy me though, and I love Ken Follet's and Philippa Gregory's historical fiction. Each author focuses on the middle ages, Follet on peasants and Gregory on the English crown. Lot's of juicy stuff in these because, unlike us, these people were so mean to each other! |
