About me

Introduction Emma completed the Crafts and Design program, with a major in glass, at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. After three successful years at Sheridan, including a summer residency in the glass studio at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto, Emma graduated with high honours in 2008. After graduation she was selected as one of the teaching assistants for this program for the following school year, during which she refined her skill in glass technique and further developed her mixed-media sculpture and production jewellery. She entered the professional world as a resident artist and flameworking instructor at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga where she continued to make fun and thought-provoking work. Her sculptural work has been shown alongside work by some of the biggest names in craft, both locally and internationally. Emma has begun a new chapter on the east coast where she is attending NSCAD University in Halifax, Nova Scotia to pursue studies in jewellery.
