Introduction	I'm a mother of 6, step-mother of 5, all of them grown and mostly on their own! Together, there are 17 (and counting) grandchildren to love. Living on an acre of land has given my husband, Bill, and I a chance to grow our own veggies and fruits. Even after 8 years, we are still learning, experimenting, failing, and continually striving for the perfect garden. When I'm not off substitute teaching or gardening, you might find me at my sewing machine working on future Christmas gifts or in the kitchen trying to re-create our favorite soup from Sweet Tomatoes. On Sundays, I enjoy teaching 5 years olds at church, visiting with the other members of the ward (a congregation in the LDS church), or hoping my piano playing sounds ok for the choir.
