| Introduction | I have worked in or with over 250 schools. I support school improvement and still teach whenever I get the chance. I run a range of courses for schools. I have been a teacher, senior leader, deputy, headteacher and executive headteacher. I hold coaching qualifications in football, badminton, rugby, netball and basketball. | Favorite books | This tends to be the one that I am reading at the present time. Unfortunately it is school term time now so I don't get time to read anything that is not work related. |
When your science teacher smashed a frozen rose with a hammer, did you warm the petals to bring them back to life?
My science teacher didn't do that but he did cause a large explosion in the fume cupboard which destroyed half of the classroom. He was sacked and I was hooked on science from that point onwards.
