| Introduction | Greetings to all! I am currently a freshman at ACC working towards my Associates in History. I am a native Texan and grew up just north of Dallas. I joined the Army shortly after graduating from Highschool in 2000, and served for six years. In March I left the Army to come to Austin to pursue my dreams of getting a highier education. My immediate goals are to get accepted in Austin's Police Academy and eventually work as an Austin Police Officer. When people ask me what I plan on using my degree for, they usually assume that I want to be a teacher. I am just simply going to college because I want a degree in History. I have always loved History and I believe that we can learn from our past. As far as my political views go, (since this is a Government class!!) I am a Republican, but of Jeffersonian politics. I follow the politics of Ron Paul, therefore I believe in a strict following of the Constitution. |
