| Introduction | I've been living in Portland for just over 11 years as a pastor at what is now truelife church. I love making people laugh and engage in life changing conversations. I've been married 11 years to my beautiful wife Jennifer, and after 8 years of fertility problems, we finally had our baby girl, Elliana, in Feb. of '09! We are planting a new church in SE Portland in 2011 called hopecity church...it's the adventure and calling of a lifetime. I've lost over 100 pounds and am now a somewhat dedicated runner, having run 4 marathons and a handful of other races such as Hood To Coast Relay. I'm a life long fan of the Seattle Seahawks (feel sorry for me), and enjoy playing sports. My influences are people from my past such as Jim Hicks & Jeff Portmann... people from my present such as Steve Stewart, Dick Iverson, Matt Molt, Bob McGregor, Frank Damazio, and Judah Smith...and people I've never been able to meet such as Joel Stockstill, Pete Wilson, Perry Noble, Mark Batterson, and Craig Groeschel. |
