| Introduction | It's all about SISTERS! I have learned from talking with other women that they really miss Super Saturdays. As I have thought about the SS's that I attended, I discovered that this was a time that I was able to "bond" with the other SISTERS in my ward. It's kind-of a "let your hair down and have fun day..." I remember being newlywed and very much out of my "comfort" zone ~ new ward, new life, new adjustments... and sometimes feeling that I didn't LEARN all that I needed to learn from mom. Being the oldest of 9 - my mom was pretty busy raising a family and I was busy being a TEENAGER that KNEW everything. So, when I had to venture out on my own.. and learn new things... I found that the SUPER SATURDAYS were very helpful for me!I also learned to be a little more resourceful, frugal, and improvise. I learned a lot from others from those SS activities. Now that I am in the "older and wiser" (ha!) category, I still miss it! I KNOW that there is so much I could be learning from my neighbor sisters...So, that is where SISTER CRAFT SHAK was created! So, come on in, sit down and let's chat a while. It's going to be so much fun! |
| Interests | I love to craft! I love CHRISTMAS!!! I love that it is a reminder of all that my Savior gave and continues to give to me each and every day... therefore, I love to GIVE as well! Just as the gifts I receive from my Savior are not always KNOWN, in fact, most are not... I love to give a gift that SURPRISES the receiver! I try really hard to listen and watch those around me and find their interests, their likings, their dreams and TRY to do all that I can to surprise them with a little bit of the "UNKNOWN"... I just LOVE the Christmas season! And, I wish it would last all year long! After all, every day is CHRISTMAS for me from my Savior and Heavenly Father! |
