| Introduction | Always hard to tell people about my life.Normal as it was up until I was 39 3/4. Wife,mother of 3 teenagers. Suddenly my simple,blissful world changed with a tragic car accident that took my middle child,Emily,16 yrs old and the shing star of the family.Our world was never the same.3 years later my older sister died, then 2 years later my dad passed and then Mom two years after that.During this time we found out my youngest daughter has NF1 and has over 1000 tumors growing on her nerves throughout her body.I have learned that my life "before" was what heaven is made of,my life "after" is what faith is made for. I love my family more than ever. Old family treasures are a memory that sometimes are what lies between me and oblivion. That connection between myself and family. Crafts became my refuge, a distraction.I started making mosaics.My business "Broken Pieces".I learned that art is therapeutic,as is restor- ation of old things. It has become my passion,therapy, recreation,my connection with what once was. What a bummer intro.sorry.I'm not always gloomy.Matter of fact,I'm playful and happy most of the time! Now that I have probably scared most people off! Welcome :) |

I would hire a maid and a cook. But I would pick up my own dirty clothes...just to stay grounded. :)
