| Introduction | I am a mother of 11-year-old twins with Special Needs. My son Alex is autistic and my son Jay has ADD. I am an advocate for Special Education and inclusion for ALL children and adults with varying disabilities. I have been a dedicated volunteer over the past 37-years and have taught Art as an Art Docent to both of my children's classmates for the past seven consecutive years. I worry about what will happen to my sons when I am in heaven and started a Nonprofit 501 c 3 in June of 2007. I designed two Permanent Living Models for Adults Living with Disabilities; A Self-sustainable Organic Farmstead and a Live, Work, Green Loft Building for the City which have gained National attention from the most prominent professionals within the autism community. I enjoy sharing information on my blogs in order to help families with disabilities look to our children's future with hope and promise. I also enjoy bringing friends together on a regular basis. |
