Introduction	I'm a science geek who walked away from physics equations and algorithms to explore recipes for healthy living. After leaving academia and the defense industry, I went to the Culinary Institute of America where I honed my knife skills and learned fundamental cooking techniques from expert chefs. It was in a little health food store down the road from the school that I stumbled upon a book about Ayurveda and a passion was born. I am now a certified Ayurvedic consultant and yoga teacher.
