| Introduction | I grew up playing all sorts of card games and have never met anyone who could beat me consistently... after all, there are only 52 cards in the deck and I have a photographic memory... Bridge, Seap... games that require you to know precisely where each one of the 52 cards are, I am pretty good at... as for betting, I can practically live off the pool table... almost did during college... Education - Mechanical Engineer with a Finance MBA.... All my confidence in my card play got severly tested when I started playing poker... no matter what I had, it seemed I could not win any money to save my life... so I decided to actually study the game and try to figure out why I sucked so bad... After playing poker fairly regularly, (at least once/twice a week and almost continuously on some weekends) for almost four years now, having gone through about two dozen books, 15-20 DVDs from the pros and countless articles on the web, I decided to start my blog. |
