| Introduction | The West Orange Chess Club reaches out to North and Central Jersey, is comprised of about forty to fifty regular members, and meets every Tuesday. We offer both rated championships, round-robins, participate in both USATE and the Garden State Chess League, and offer casual chess in a friendly but correct chess atmosphere. While our generous sponsors have taken steps to provide a well appointed and secure meeting place, and as such do not have to aggressively grow our membership on a commercial basis, we always welcome new members! We range from solid Class B, Class A, Expert, and have several Masters. We always welcome club players who aspire to improve, and are fortunate to have among us International Masters who are always helpful. We welcome total beginners, too! |
