Favorite moviesHere's a few: Film Noir - especially with Bogie, mysteries (especially Poirot with David Suchet), anything Agatha Christie or Dorothy Sayers, Lord of the Rings, Citizen Kane, a lot of BBC produced stuff, Trublood, Harry Potter, Singin' In The Rain, My Fair Lady, A Wrinkle In Time, Auntie Mame, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Van Helsing, Bram Stroker's Dracula, Dead and Loving It, The Producers.
Favorite musicClub: mostly prefer electro or trance, but like a lot of house and some hip hop, of course I love Lady Gaga and Beyonce; folk: especially John Denver, Peter Paul and Mary; International: Alan Stivell, The Chieftans; The King's Singers (I love accapello singing and choir), Eric Whitacre; Bette Midler, Cher, Bill Monroe, etc.: a very wide audio interest and these are but a few.
Favorite booksI am essentially a bibliomaniac. My all time favorite book is Harpo Speaks. There are WWAAAYYY to many to mention. I really get into Tolkien, esp the Silmarillion and LOTR; Heinlein is God in my book, esp. Stranger; Sayers and Christie, vampire novels: esp. Charlaine Harris, Anne Rice, etc. Love non-fiction and read very widely. Love the book Everything is God by Jay Michaelson.

You've written a hit musical! How will you avoid having fame go to your head?

By focusing on the fact that everything passes away. I'd ride the crest of the wave of fun until it ended. Then, I'd go on to the next new adventure.
