| Introduction | The Serbian Association for Anglo-American Studies was founded in 2007. Its goal is the encouragement of study in all areas of Anglo-American culture, promotion of cooperation and communication between scholars in the field of Anglo-American literature, linguistics and culture, as well as circulation of relevant information in the field among its members. For this purpose, the Association organizes conferences, workshops and other forms of communication among its members and other scholars in this field. The focus of the association is on cooperation not only with English Departments in Serbia and abroad, but also with students at the Department of English, University of Novi Sad, a large number of whom have shown interest in the activities of the Association and would like to become its members. The Association will help students to organize their conference and launch their magazine in the field of Anglo-American studies. Cooperation with students from Belgrade and Nis, as well as with undergraduates and graduates studying in the region, is another priority. |
