| Introduction | The most brilliant compositions of music, the most eloquent lyrics and the most rhythmic beat are merely ideas if not shared with others. In the creative experience it is required that someone listen. In the important infancy of rock and soul, there was one man who did listen, promote and encourage those who made the music we hear today. He is Hampton (Hamp) Swain. There are not many that can say they were at the very epicenter of the storm we know today as rock and roll and soul music. Hamp Swain can make that claim. |
