| Introduction | I'm from Paintsville, KY, but I don't ever want to go back. Lexington has been my home for over six years and I hope to stay here for awhile. I was trying to get into medical school, but it's not in the picture as of right now. I'm now looking into PhD programs at the University of Kentucky, possible in physiology or pharmacology. As I said, I'm a huge nerd. I love to learn. I've got two degrees from UK, one in business management and the other in biology and psychology. I was an MHA at Eastern State Hospital, a state psych hospital. I grew to hate it, though it gave me a valuable experience. Now I'm a research assistant at the UK in the Center on Drug and Alcohol Research but I absolutely love it. I'm very excited to be here and see what doors it opens up for me. I do like to go out and have fun, though my idea of fun now is somewhat different than it was only a few years ago. I think I'm getting old. I watch a lot of TV. I knit with my best friend. I have a Pekingese dog named Gizmo, a kitty named Minerva (after Minerva McGonagall, but I call her Minnie), and a kitten named Bella (after Bellatrix Lestrange/Bella Swan). I consider my pets my kids. |
| Interests | I'm a huge nerd. I actually enjoy school, especially psychology, biology, and chemistry (even though I'm not particularly good at it). Reading (especially Harry Potter, Twilight, and House of Night. I pretty much heart fantasty at the moment. And fanfiction is amazing). Television (which I watch WAY too much of!). I do love to hang out with my friends and my family (when I get the chance). Knitting. Animals (especially my lovely cat and dog). |

That's about all I can think of for now, but there are many many more. I love horror movies, and comedies, and some drama. |
| Favorite Music | It's cliche, but I really do listen to just about anything - pop, rock, rap... I'm picky when it comes to country, though! I've got Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Sarah Bareilles, Marilyn Manson, Korn, Fall Out Boy, Orgy, and rap all on same mp3 player. My current love is Jack's Mannequin. I heart Andrew McMahon. But apprently I am very limited in my music exposure, but that is being taken care of. Oh, and Avenue Q is just about the best musical to ever be produced! |
