Introduction	I'm a traditional Catholic who attends Mass in the Extraordinary Form of the Latin Rite. My worldview is grounded in my Catholic Faith; I pray that my understanding of the spectrum of all other matters in life might be properly filtered through the prism of the Triune God! In political matters, I'm close to a "strict constitutional Constructionist" with strong Libertarian leanings I believe that a Perfect Storm of educational mediocrity, religious indifference and cultural amnesia is coalescing to bring about the complete unravelling of Western society (known in better times as "Christendom") before our very eyes. Addressing events and concerns in that vein will be the primary focus on this blog, with Catholic catechetics and apologetics getting a prominent billing as well. I'm afraid this blog will, of necessity, take on aspects of a jeremiad at times. But, hey! Someone has to point this stuff out, right? Maybe we can talk some sports every once-in-a-while to lighten things up around here! Well, let's get on with it...
