|Hi! I'm Jennifer, a “Jersey girl” who relocated to the DC area in 2000. Like most from my home state, I’ve got a bit of an attitude and opinions on mostly everything. I have an uncanny love for scrapple. I currently reside in Northern Virginia with my husband, two little boys, and dog.
|I love to cook, experiment with new recipes, and eat foods from all over the world. My most memorable dining experiences were when we traveled to Scotland. We were able to dine at the opulent and romantic restaurant, Rhubarb at the Prestonfield House in Edinburgh. It was amazing – well prepared food coupled with a secluded, quiet ambience like none other! Also while we were in Scotland, we tried black and white pudding. Turns out, their idea of ‘pudding’ is a compilation of pig's blood, barley, oats and beef fat. It was not great, but you don’t know unless you try!
