Introduction	I grew up around the classic car business, driving or pushing hundreds of them. I thought I hated old cars until a few years ago, when suddenly I had to have an old Jaguar XJ-S. This took me as much by surprise as anyone and started a strange new chapter in our lives, so I'm blogging about the experience of owning, driving and caring for them. As much about self discovery as anything else.

Favorite Movies	Solaris, LA Story, Sex Lies and Video Tape, 007 (guilty pleasure), Beginners, Big Sleep, Big Lebowski, Citizen Kane, Dark Knight, Fight Club, Gross Point Blanke, Star Trek (see 007), Indiana Jones, Cinema Paradiso, Brazil, Frida, North by Northwest, To Catch a Thief, pretty much anything Cary Grant or Fred Astaire.

Favorite Books	I like books with pictures. Honestly, I like books but, for some reason, don't feel compelled to share the titles.
