| Introduction | I'm currently a senior at Northern Kentucky University and am majoring in journalism with a minor in electronic media broadcasting. I am a full-time student and I also work part time. Writing has always been a passion of mine and I've recently gotten into camera production and digital publishing. Having said that, after graduating from NKU I hope to pursue a career related to print news,photography and/or publishing. A long-term goal of mine is to write and possibly take pictures for a respected newspaper or magazine. I'm minoring in electronic media broadcasting to learn how a news station operates, to get a better understanding of the duties of television and radio news reporters and to familiarize myself with the equipment and technology used in journalism today. I hope my knowledge of the different branches of journalism will make me more marketable for employment in the future. |
