Introduction	Although introduced to performing at a very early age Kate only started pursuing acting as a profession in about 2005. In 2003 Kate set up Actors at Work Productions as a banner for her various creative projects linked mostly to Stage and Film work. Early work was mainly filming theatre shows and creating high quality DVDs of the productions, along with behind the scenes extras. Kate directed her first short film in 2005. She has worked on a number of films, experiencing many different jobs behind the camera and this knowledge helps her when working in front of the camera too. Kate still feels she has a long way to go and plenty more to learn but that's what this industry is all about.
