How is an ankle unlike a consequence?

Technically, you could argue that an ankle IS like a consequence, as it is only logical that an ankle exists to provide flexibility of movement to the foot, which is needed as a result of the fact that weight needs to be dispersed equally having been transmitted down through the body. Just sayin'.
