Introduction	A little lost, failed plans, false starts, being in the right place, blind luck, not knowing enough to be afraid and thank goodness divine intervention is a pretty good caricature of my life. I would change some things with the opportunity, but now that most of my life is been used up, I'm guessing my experiences are just about as valuable as the life I have left. However, if the past is any predictor of the future, my experiences are far from over. I'll try to leave a little info for anyone who might care to listen. Jim
Interests	Outdoor activities, International travel, Watercolor art, Inland waterway cruising (past), Classic corvettes, Cooking
Favorite movies	Top Gun, The Greatest Show on Earth, It Came from Beneath the Sea and The Creature with the Atom Brain (Saw the last two in a double feature with Ricky Barrett at the Royal Theater, downtown Jackson, MS, circa 1956. We saw the double feature twice leading to a APB for child recovery. A great life-time experience I will share with all its youthful milestones as blog post later.)
Favorite music	All of it, if it's good, but I'm partial to the greatest era of musical renaissance to date, the 60's.
Favorite books	I'm of the opinion that I suffered from dyslexia before it was fashionable or for that matter before it was a condition or a word.. However, Miss Rachael Williams, the third grade teacher that put the terror in territory (remember dyslexia) found a cure, no recess until I got the vowels in the right order. Point is, I don’t enjoy reading like my mother would like me to like! On the Wings of Dawn by Laura Edge is absolutely the most accurate accounting of the trials of US airmen held prisoner by Nazi Germany during WWII, Rising Tide and Educated are two more favorites. I am addicted to the editorial section of Wall Street Journal and Internet news publications not aligned with a particular political persuasion.
