| Introduction | Hi, I'm Winky “the one-eyed wonder” -President/spokes cat of "Hooked On Nip" & spokes cat for O.C. of Richmond-an all volunteer, non-profit group, that promotes TNR & holds a once monthly spay/neuter clinic for strays & ferals. Between 60 - 100 cats are "speutered" at each clinic. I was born into a colony of 60+ feral cats, and was a very sick kitten when I was trapped & taken to O.C. The vets took one look at my right eye & decided that it needed to be removed b/c of a nasty infection. O.C. is where I met my mom. People often tell my mom that she can’t save every kitty-mom tells them that it doesn’t mean that she can’t try! Mom is now a board member at O.C.. It is hard work, but she loves every minute of it. "Hooked On Nip" is mom's crochet company that I have hijacked. She makes the best catnip toys ever!! The "Winky Wions" was the 1st toy we offered online. It only has one eye, like me!! 100% of the proceeds from the "Wions" goes to O.C.! We now sell long tailed mice, aka "Winky Wodents." They come in two styles the "Wowser Mouser" (furry) & the "Mouser ala Sphynx" (no fur). Keep your eyes peeled for a new addition to be added to our toy selection soon!! |
