My blogs
| Introduction | I started off in the Arts as I attended Claude Watson School for the Arts, and it wasn't until I was 14 that I found competitive sports. I started with Triathlons, and in school I was part of several teams. It was in high school where I also met my amazingly loving and supportive husband. I went to University for Kinesiology and after graduating I got into the world of Medical Devices. I currently work full time managing an Inside Sales Team for a Health Company. I started rowing in 2006. Since my University didn't offer rowing, my good friend and I decided to join the Don Rowing Club. The first few years were not as intense since I trained in the summer season and trained about 3-4 days a week. When Bernhard Stomporowski came into the scene at the DRC, I started to train 6-7 days a week (twice a day) and I improved significantly. The purpose of my blog is to share my experiences and journey with family, friends and others who are interested. I am driven to see how fast I can get with rowing while holding this full time job and challenging myself to the max to be my best. |
