Introduction	I was born in Southern California and have lived all over the country due to dad and husband job transfers. It instilled a great wanderlust in me. I was a track star in high school and eventually studied musical composition at the University of Florida and Lone Mountain College in San Francisco. I was a staff songwriter in Nashville for nearly twenty years and found that the majority of my success was in music for children. I am widely published from Disney's LIttle Mermaid to Baby Looney Toons to Kathie Lee GIfford's Dreamship album. Today I live in Chattanooga with my husband and son, a dachshund named Ham, and three cats.I also have four other wonderful children out on their own. Life is good!
Interests	Jogging, hiking, picture book authoring, ceramic jewelry making, camping, songwriting, cooking, antiquing,traveling, possibilitizing.
Favorite movies	The River Wild, Clifford, Anything Muppet, Hoosiers, Napoleon Dynamite, The Agony and The Ecstasy, A Man and A Woman.
Favorite music	America, the Eagles, James Taylor, John Mayer.
Favorite books	All the Tolkien books, In The Lake of the Woods, countless others.
