| Introduction | I work at my day job as a mental health professional, which I love, but a big part of being in a “helping profession” is making time to engage in self-care as well. Making projects is my self-care! One my favorite things to do is upcycle old items into something new. I’ve been doing this since I was young and stored a box of pretty paper scraps under my bed I called my “confetti box.” My taste has broadened a bit, but I still love finding the potential and beauty in things that might otherwise be forgotten! |
