Introduction St. Elizabeth's Parish was dedication on October 10, 1906, beginning with 34 families. The original wooden church was replaced in 1959 with the brick and Kasota stone church that is still used today. The Parish Center, which is used for all parish activities, was built in 1982. The parish had 110 families during the 1980s. Now, about 40 families remain actively involved by serving in the liturgy, in fellowship with each other, and in volunteering in the Sykeston community.
