| Occupation | Retired - Alaska State Parks and City of Seattle |
| Location | Arocutin, a small village on Lake Patzcuaro, Michoacan, Mexico |
| Introduction | I grew up in the Midwest (Galena, IL), obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health Administration from the University of Minnesota, and lived most of my adult life in Alaska and Seattle. Having traveled the world, I somehow have not yet made it to Australia. Tho' my Spanish is improving, my Turkish is getting rusty. |
| Interests | I am an avid birder! Seattle Audubon has accredited me as a Master Birder, I am a member of the Alaska 200 Club, and I served on Seattle Audubon Society's Conservation Committee, Sierra Club's Alaska Taskforce, and Anchorage Audubon's board. Other interests are: herbal soap and candle making, needlework, travel, reading, music, gardening, watching people, and tossing tennis balls to Lucy, the luckiest abandoned dog in the world. |
| Favorite movies | Seattle Art Museum's film series. Super thanks to Greg O. for his talent! |
| Favorite books | There isn't a bird book that is not a favorite. |
