| Introduction | I have been creating fiber art for some 15 years. Actually the first years were all about gaining the techniques and tools that would allow me to explore on my own. My work is about texture and color but always about exploring new techniques for manipulating fiber. I love to have just a vague idea about a new idea and then to try it out myself. Mistakes are my friend and often lead to new and innovative designs. My work has been juried into Houston Quilt Festival, Pacific International Quilt Festival, West Coast Wonders and others. I have also been in several shows including the Davis Calif Artery, Danville Theater Gallery, Blue Line Gallery, and Placer Art League. In the recent past, I was a member of ARTful Women. A group that main goal was to enter into shows and promote the idea of Fiber Art being considered a fine art. I hope you enjoy my blog, I will enjoy having you on this trip of self discovery. Pam |
