Introduction	I started out being a textile designer and eventually wound up in Higher Education. After 3 years in HE the studio teaching reduced and the managerial stuff took over. 9 years on - I quit the job, took up a PhD (2 years to go!)and now I'm making time to get back to the drawing board. This blog is an online diary of that return and the re-discovery of my love of drawing. I'm making attempts to expand my repertoire of technique / approach so any leads to inspiring blogs or websites will be most welcome.
