Introduction	Formal education in design from the University of Kansas, Lawrence. Received and BFA in Textile Design in 1987. Informal education via my job and various workshop teaching over the years. Employed by ASIATICA in Kansas City for 13 years. Surrounded by amazing japanese textiles--vintage and contemporary. See asiaticakc.com and nuno.com to get the visual vibe. Past teaching experience at the Kansas City Art Institute in Continuing Education. Classes in shibori (japanese tie dye) and weaving. One semester at KU teaching textile history. What a challenge that was! Great experiences.
