Introduction	I am an amateur eventer, a teacher of college-level rhetoric/writing and research writing, a technical writer and print editor, and a hopeless addict to rescuing any living creature that may inadvertently wander too close to my farm (dogs, cats, birds, horses, bunnies, squirrels, and a pot-bellied pig). I am also insanely preoccupied with reading, crossword puzzles, watching Family Guy, and listening to the likes of Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Lady Gaga (guilty!), Manic Street Preachers, Keane, Muse, and occasionally some oldies-but-goodies like ELO, Supertramp, The Smiths, and Big Audio Dynamite. And, sometimes the Spice Girls, as well (guilty, again!).
