| Introduction | I am a middle-aged (groan- how did that happen!) single mum of two. I work full time as an office manager (read general dogs body!) for an exhibition company in a fast paced office so its never boring! In my spare time (HUH?!?!) my passions (read obsession!) is dressage. I am owned by a young Friesian Mare who is taking me on a whirlwind journey and I doing my hardest to keep up and do her some sort of justice! Owning a Friesian has been a life long dream for me, but just to make sure that life doesn’t get too easy, Antsje has kindly shown me what an amateur I am at this riding malarkey. So in a bid to try and ride her ‘properly’ I am on a crazy roller-coaster ride of wonderful ups and frustrating lows. But still, I am learning a lot and meeting some wonderful people along the way :-) I also enjoy running and am currently working towards my ultimate goal of running a marathon! namely the london marathon!! But to start with Im building up to it with a few half marathons and raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support along the way ;-) |
