| Introduction | I'm a private person, so this is not a life story. It's only fair, though, that I should say something to signal where I'm coming from: truth in advertising, so to speak. I am a former journalist, book reviewer, book seller, an about to be retired middle and high school English teacher, and (I hope) a future published novelist! I love history, nature, food from around the world, movies, all sorts of art and music (but too bad I wasted all those piano lessons by never practicing) and I love public radio too. The spoken word has its own power! |
