Introduction | Hello! Welcome to my site which is dedicated to collecting and preserving vintage movie worn costumes and fashion from the Golden Age of Hollywood. The collection also focuses on movie posters and other unique items from the silver screen. I will be adding a new post about once a month, covering a few of the hundreds of items in the collection, with costumes from stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, Ginger Rogers, Robert Mitchum, and Claudette Colbert to name a few. Collecting for me started at age 12 when I bought my first lobby card at a memorabilia show in NYC. Over the years I've grown to love collecting and preserving these relics of entertainment history, focusing mainly on the costumes. It's always fascinating to see something worn by a favorite star in a great classic movie, and to see the costume still existing today. My hope is to have a live exhibit with the collection someday, but in the meantime I hope you'll enjoy looking at the images and reading each post. |
