Introduction I guess it was high time for me to update this. I am a full-time working Mom and a graduate student. I have a wonderful husband and adorable son who is the light of my life! I'm originally from Dallas and like any Texan I'd like to move back some day, especially since my entire family is there. However, since I joined the Coast Guard and moved away when I was 18, most of my not-so-nearest and dearest friends are spread out all over God's green earth. In my version of a perfect world I would live close to all of my family and friends...preferably close to a beach.
Interests Sports...mostly watching...some playing, Football, UFC, Minor-League Baseball (going to the games is way better than major leagues for some reason), cooking, watching cooking on TV, eating fancy foods, finding the perfect card, reading a great book, spending time with friends, spending time with family, veggin' on the couch with the hubby, hiking, exploring, running, doing projects around the house
Favorite Movies Classic Chick flicks, Pretty Woman, You've Got Mail, The Notebook, Walk the Line, Dumb & Dumber, Fight Club, Star Wars (mostly the trilogy but I appreciate the new ones too), Indiana Jones (all of'em), Rounders, The Princess Bride, The Neverending Story, Old Westerns...
Favorite Music I am pretty eclectic in the music that I like which pretty much includes all kinds, Day to day I'm pretty much a country bumkin though, Garth is still my all time favorite, Garth is closely followed by King George and of course those Texans...Willie and Waylon and the boys, Pat Green, I admitedly still love 80's hairbands, GNR, Skid Row, I love love love Frank Sinatra and Jazz & Blues like Miles Davis, Bebe King, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Lang, Susan Tedeschi, to name a few of my fav's, Oh and of course I'm a bit of a parrot-head...gotta love Jimmy Buffett!...
Favorite Books Where is Joe Merchant, The Pact, Anything by Jodi Picoult, Jane Green, Nicolas Sparks, oh and definately all of Dan Brown's books
