| Introduction | I have been married to the same wonderful man for 44 years. (Don Kingsmore) We have 3 sons and 9 grandchildren....all living in the Charlotte & Raleigh areas of NC. I grew up in Atlanta,GA and then went to Gardner-Webb College where I met my husband Don. We lived in Union SC from 1966-1982 and bought 137 acres of land on the Tyger River in 1976, where we lived and raised cattle until moving to Charlotte NC in 1982. There we started our own plastic packaging company...More Pkg. Inc. and bought some commercial property which housed our business and also leased out to several other businesses on N.Graham St. We sold all of that and retired to Union in 2006...back to our farm. Now it is all forest land..no cattle, just dogs,2 fishing ponds and 2 miles bordering the Tyger River! What a wonderful place to live ! I do miss all my grandchildren in Charlotte, however they are growing up fast and are beginning to have lives of their own...too busy for grandparents...but I keep up with them on Facebook! |
