| Introduction | At the age of 25 I found a new lease of life when I discovered mountain biking. Five years later, I bought my first road bike and have never looked back. I achieved my first century in Aug 2009, sub 7:30 hours in very wet conditions and rode La Marmotton in very hot conditions in July 2010. Previous to that I have completed a handful of sportives, climbed Kilimanjaro and Mt Kinabalu (Borneo) and completed half-marathons and some sprint distance triathlons.
