IntroductionI was born in East Los Angeles, California on September 7, 1954, and raised in Tijuana and Esquinapa, Mexico, for the first years of my life. My mother Guadalupe Cedano Escobar de Rivera was one of seventeen children. I am one of seven in my family...and one of over a hundred cousins. My claim to fame is that I never missed a day of school from kindergarten to high school. It was that first graham cracker with milk that hooked me. My brothers and sisters are Lucy, Terry, Yolanda, Manuel (deceased January 12, 2004), and Jesse. I was raised without a t.v. most of my life. I consider myself a Mexicano Cora Indigenous Chicano Quaker with a tad of Italian...So be it. I traveled throughout Canada, Mexico, and the USA. I lived in forests, communes, and intentional communities. I am a vegan, and I have no television or car. I enjoy dancing ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and hip hop at Klein Dance Studio. I coordinate and develop a handful of gardens and a nature club in the City of Lake Worth.
