| Introduction | First and foremost, I am Ken's wife, a Mommy to Camden, Lucy, Tex and Pumpkin, I am a dance instructor and choreographer, and family is the number one priority in my life, although sometimes it seems as though dance is. I take my job very seriously and at times I need to take a step back and re-think about what truly matters in this life. Not a dance, not a piece of choreography, not a song to edit, not a costume to pick, not an award at a competition. But family. We are moving away from the coast this June, 2011, and while I'm going to miss the beautiful beach and the familiarity of Wilmington, I'm thankful to be going closer to my family. I believe in God, and I pray as much as I can for Him to keep us healthy, out of danger, and away from harm. He has blessed me with the best husband, the most perfect son, the sweetest animals (well, Lucy can be sweet at times), and the most selfless, generous family anyone could ask for. I'm very lucky and often take it for granted. I'm trying to be better about that and realize each day that we don't know what we have until it's gone. |
