| Introduction | Two years ago we moved back to Hamilton, the city I grew up in and where we had lived previously. It is a good thing, although we still miss Acton and it's small town life and friends left behind. We are now 6 minutes from our daughter and her husband and 2 girls :) Life is almost perfect - not perfect because our son and his family live so far away that we see them an average of every 1 1/2 years. We cherish the times we do have with them <3 As for myself. I enjoy our small apartment except for the lack of a convenient deck to be outside during nice weather and having to give up my old rocking chair due to lack of space. I have joined the Seniors Centre at the local YWCA and swim on a regular basis as my physio. As well i swim with our daughter and her girls once a week. It is the highlight of my week! I laughingly tell people that my middle name is Fish :) We have recently hired a housekeeper because most of my "good time" was used up trying to do household chores rather than enjoying life. I can thank my Old Age Pension for allowing us this improvement in our lives : ) |
