Introduction At 30 years old, I have found myself at the crossroads of "loser for life" or "figure it out"--so I am trying to figure this out. I love to make fun of s**t so, I think this blog stuff might work for me, as I once worked on professional ones that were boring and about total losers, I think I can handle it.
Interests Drinking in dives, jukeboxes, fitness, pickles, cleavage, big hair, old Hollywood glamor, insulting people with wit, reading non-fiction, British men, travel, and hummus.
Favorite Movies Anything that makes me laugh. I am sick of romantic comedies, I will probably rip them to shreds quite often. I love films that show how you need to laugh at yourself in life, so anything directed by Judd Apatow would be a good example.
Favorite Music I love old school punk, new wave, 80's, some hip hop, and in a recent attempt to chill the f*** out, I've started to really like some lounge (house) music. I have a very eclectic ear, I like anything that doesn't make me wanna break a window and jump out of it.
Favorite Books I love non-fiction. I love writers like David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs, Jeannette Walls, Mary Karr, and Frank McCourt. Fiction can be a nice escape, but I've always considered myself and family to be a bit unconventional, so I love to see how other writers have account for their stories.

Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?

A wet sock, because it's funnier.
