| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! I am a single mum with a boisterous boy. I have been crafting all my life in one form or another. I began by watching my grandmother make clothes. She used to make clothes for everyone in the family, she was a brilliant seamstress. The sound of scissors cutting fabric against a wooden table brings back many childhood memories. I began by making my own dolls clothes, little skirts and dresses for my Pippas (remember those?) and these are saved somewhere because I cannot bring myself to throw them away. In my early twenties I started making my own clothes and my best make was a pair of tartan trousers. I matched the squares and everything! Sadly they don’t fit me anymore. Then I moved into cross-stitch and the evidence of which is framed all over my house. I can’t remember when I began paper-crafting, but it began in earnest about 6-7 years ago. I enjoy stamping , using CDs, making 3D cards and am always trying to include new techniques. |
