| Introduction | Mary Himbaugh Conver officially became our New Children's Pastor, on March 10th, 2013. Mary has a Masters of Arts in Christian Education with a specialty in Children's Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Louisville, Kentucky, where she graduated in May 2005. Mary also received a BA in Arts Administration, from the University of Kentucky, in December 1999. Before taking the position of Children's Pastor at Forestpark, Mary acted as our Vacation Bible School Director for 3 years, as well as a Station Leader and Crew Leader in earlier years. Mary has also been our Kids Ministry Events Coordinator, heading activities such as our Annual Fall Festival, Family Fun Nights, Easter Egg Hunt, an Easter Play, Christmas Parties, and more. Mary and her husband Sam have 2 children, and have been members of Forestpark since their engagement in August 2001. |
